Version 2.2.x
(August 2011)
Bugfix Release v2.2.1
General
Bug fixes:
- gravity transport for multiple grain classes
- correction of wall friction in BASEplane
- strong coupling of hydraulic / sediment
- suspension inflow in 1D (use of dynamic diffusion coefficient)
- topo restart in 1D (cross section was written in a wrong way)
- sediment transport in 1D: armored layer was not used for single grain calculations
- correction of CV-thickness due to armored layer
- output of bed-fluxes for Matlab
- inner weir in 2D: the weir crest was set too high in certain cases where the weir level was below the ground level
- too small pickup-rate in 2D suspension corrected
- exchange terms for suspension in 2D corrected for dry elements which were wet before
Small Features:
- CFL numbers up to 2.0 allowed
- new calibration factor dor dynamic turbulent diffusitiy in 2D suspension
- new sink velocity type (after Zhang)
- new calibration parameters in 1D suspension (pickup-factor, factor for reference concentration, factor for turbulent viscosity)
- more comprehensive transport diagram in 1D
- max. layer thickness to be exceeded before a new layer is created can now be defined by the user in 1D
Minor Release v2.2
General:
New Features:
Subsystem BASEparse:
Subsystem BASEchain:
New Features:
Bug fixes:
Subsystem BASEplane
New Features:
- Cycle step for quasi-steady bed-load and suspension transport to speed up morphological simulations
- zhydrograph boundary improved. Ghost cell velocities can be set to zero (e.g. for lakes) or to the upstream cell velocity (e.g. for a stream).
- Threshold value can be set in water surface output in case of dry conditions
- External sources for bed-load and suspension moved to MORPHOLOGY-block
- Upwind-factor for bed-load transport is assigned now for each material index
- 64-bit linux version available for Ubuntu Natty (11.04)
