BASEMENT is distributed over the Internet in binary form (the source code remains closed) and is available at no charge. In addition, serveral tools are available that are more or less related to the software.

Tutorials
For a simple start into the program, the user manual offers some tutorials with real-world scenarios. The corresponding input files are available in the Tutorial v4.0 section.
Test Cases
Test Cases are used to validate parts of the program against analytical and experimental results (see correponding section in the Reference Manual contained in the documentation). Input files for some test cases are available in the Test Case section. They shall serve as examples of how to set up a simulation with BASEMENT.
